Coronavirus updates

Following the situation in China & recent development of Coronavirus, most of the airlines provide Full Refund for flights from/to China Mainland and only for specific travel dates. 

Please see below in which cases a full refund is permitted: 

  • China Airlines (CI)

Flights to/from China/Hong Kong/ Korea until 30 April 2020

  • China Southern Airlines (CZ)

Flights to/from/via China Mainland until 29 March 2020

  • Korean Airlines (KE)

Flights from/to Wuhan, China, Hong Kong, Taiwan until 25 April 2020

  • All Nippon Airlines (NH)

Flights to/from Mainland China /Hong Kong /Macao until 30 April 2020 & from/to Japan until 05 April 2020

  • China Eastern Airlines (MU)

Flights from/to/via Mainland China for any travel date

  • Cathay Pacific & Dragon Air (CX & KA)

Flights from/to Mainland China & Philippines & Thailand until 30 April 2020 & between Hong Kong - Taiwan until 31 March 2020 & between Hong Kong - South Korea until 30 April 2020 & From/ to Tel Aviv from 19 February 2020 until 31/03 2020 & Between Hong Kong - Japan until 30 April 2020

  • Asiana Airlines (OZ)

Flights from/to China, Hong Kong, Taiwan until 25 April 2020

  • Air China (CA)

Flights to/from China/Hong Kong/Taiwan until 29 March 2020

  • Eva Airways (BR)

Flights from/to Mainland China/ Hong Kong/ Korea and Macao until 30 April 2020 & for direct flights from/ to Milan until 16 May 2020

  • Etihad Airlines (EY)

Flights from/to Shanghai / Chengdu until 31 March 2020 & from/to Hong Kong until 28 March 2020

  • Lufthansa Group (LH, SN, OS, LX)

Flights from/to Mainland China excluding Macau (MFM) and Hong Kong (HKG)  until 28 March 2020

  • American Airlines (AA)

Flights to/Wuhan/ Tianjin / Shanghai/ Chengdu until 31 March 2020

Some of the above airlines may cancel flights for the aforementioned cities. Until now there are no specific guidelines & details on which flights will not operate. Tripair strongly recommends passengers to check the status of your flight with the carrier you are traveling with.  

If you have already booked a flight that is not scheduled within the specific dates, where a full refund is permitted, we advise you to wait for an update from the airline.
